About us
Our Origin Story: A Legacy of Hope
Every
movement has an origin story. Ours begins with Buyile Hendrietta Montjane,
a nurse whose compassion rewrote destinies.
During the
darkest years of the AIDS epidemic, she did more than treat patients—she
restored hope. Her hands tended to wounds, but her spirit carried a relentless
message: "You are not forgotten. You will rise again."
Just as she
fought to restore dignity to those the world had cast aside, we carry forward
her name—Buyile, meaning "they have returned"—as a promise:
No
potential will be left behind.
No voice
will go unheard.
And no
dream is too big to achieve.
Guided by her legacy, we stand as a beacon of resilience, opportunity, and transformation for South Africa’s youth.
